The Tunisia in Transition-Group held several seminars during this April, in order to strengthen the competencies of its Research Fellows.
Two Didactics Seminars at La Manouba, one in English and one in German, provided interactive trainings for the participants. They were instructed by Stefanie Reinhardt from the Center for Didactics at University of Passau and by Prof. Dr. Bernhard Stahl from the Chair of International Politics at University of Passau.
The didactic seminars provided modern and interactive teaching methods for university teachers. They also included training on rhetorical and presentation skills.
On Sunday, April 20, the group held a coordination meeting with the partners of the German Department of La Manouba (Prof. Fendri, Dr. Ferchichi) and the Tunisian project coordinators (Dr. Ben Amor, Dr. Ben Amara).
On Wednesday, April 22, another coordination meeting took place with the German project coordinators (Brandt, Dr. Ratka, Dr. Ben Amor, Dr. Ben Amara) and further partners from Munich (Dr. Rummel).
On Thursday, April 24, a panel discussion was held at the University of Sousse. Its focus was the status and perspective of Political Science and it was led by Edmund Ratka, Reinhardt Rummel and Katharina McLarren.
On Friday, April 24, the project team convened with Tunisian professors to talk about future cooperation. Among the participants were Prof. Nouria, Prof. Wafa, Prof. Mouelhi and Prof. Ben Messaoud.
On Saturday, May 26, Prof.Dr. Stahl led a workshop about „Foreign Policy Analysis” for the Master students of International Relations of the University Tunis el-Manar .
On Sunday, May 27, a workshop about “The new Tunisia in International Relations” took place with the Doctoral Candidates of the Research Group “Tunisia in Transition”.
