Over the past weekend, the research Cluster “Tunisia in Transition – International Relations” has had a successful first workshop with Mr. Wolfgang Karlstetter on methodology in social science. After an encompassing overview of scientific reasoning and different social science methods, all the fellows had the opportunity to discuss their individual research questions, designs and methodology with the invited expert and the whole group. At the same time, the first workshop served as a kick-off meeting were almost all the future book contributors met and the whole project was intensely discussed. The next workshop is scheduled for late April and will further dig into scientific writing and the empirical working process.
